Overview
Ahead of the 2026 Winter Games, Jamaica was on an undeniable winning streak. Our task was to reintroduce the bobsleigh team to the world, showcasing the team’s elite athleticism whose unseen hours define their identity and their country’s pride.
The Story
The film centers on the 23:59:00 that no one sees: the early mornings, the downtime, the discipline, and the camaraderie that fuels the team. Instead of focusing on the 60 seconds of competition, we focused on the other 23 hours and 59 minutes: their work, their humor, their resilience, and the cultural heartbeat they carry with them.
This is a story about national identity expressed through never-before-seen training rituals.
Approach
We followed the team with a documentary mindset. With limited time to ask questions, we dug into their stories, creating the narrative in real-time to support the teams modern positioning.
The visual language leans into intimacy: haircuts, cracking jokes, heavy breathing after a sprint, the contrast between Jamaican warmth and winter training.
The Output
A portrait of the team built from real moments, anchored by a hero film and supported by short‑form cuts that extend into paid to drive excitement for their run at Milano-Cortina.
